William Eugene Beckett Jr. was born on February 11, 1985 in Barrington, Illinois. He is the lead singer of the former Fueled By Ramen/Decaydance band The Academy Is... On October 8, 2011, TAI announced that they were spitting up. William's first solo EP is set to be released on April 17, 2012, along with 2 others that will be available in July and October. William resides in Illinois with his fiance Christine, and their 4 year old daughter Genevieve.

Not everyone has met William, so I wanted to be fair!
